Review Before Publication

Public submissions never reach the community board until a verified organization approves them.

How it works

The flow, step by step.

1

A submission comes in

Anyone can post through the public form, but it lands as pending — invisible to volunteers until reviewed.

2

A reviewer sees the full picture

Submitting organization, contact person, email, description, and the complete generated schedule — everything needed to judge legitimacy in one glance.

3

Approve & publish, or reject

Approving puts it on the community board immediately; rejecting simply declines it. Either way, nothing reaches the public board unreviewed.

Why it matters

The board stays trustworthy without Neighbor Powered itself having to police every submission — the founding local organization, which already knows its own community, is the one deciding what's legitimate.
